Yoga Hikes & Private Yoga Sessions

Types of Private Sessions:

• Therapeutic-Essentials (for those with injuries or need to learn modifications for poses that challenge them physically). Kathy has worked with students helping them with alignment specific to injuries like low back, shoulders, neck, ankles and feet, hips and hamstrings. Address everything you want in this setting and come away with a deep knowledge what to do in yoga class, how to modify and keep advancing.

• Private one-on-one sessions for the raw beginner or for the seasoned practitioner. We teach you to align and refine most basic poses. Doing a private session covers things you would not be able to stop and detail out in a public class. It gives you a chance to ask questions and get guidance and feedback that is custom tailored to your practice.

Yoga Hikes:

Often paired with meditation, a licensed guide will take you on the red rocks for a mellow yoga practice overlooking the red rocks. Refer to our hiking page for more information. Yoga hikes are in conjunction with Back to Earth Tours, Sedona AZ.

About us

We owned 2 yoga studios in Chicago area for almost 8 years. We started with the strongest desire to make real change and create a strong community there and bring that same desire to Sedona. We have traveled to Sedona since the 1980s and finally made it our permanent home to teach yoga, hold teacher trainings, and run retreats in the western part of the United States.

We traveled across the country to study with various Anusara and Iyengar Instructors since 2003, including: John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, Chad Satlow, Ross Rayburn, Sianna Sherman, Mitchell Bleier, Douglas Brooks, Marc Holzman, Martin Kirk, Amy Ippoliti, Betsey Downing, Noah Mazé, Gabriel Halpern, Todd Norian.
