Trail Guide

Information on our Guided Hikes

Your Guides, Jim & Kathy

We have been taking people on the land in Sedona since 2019. We are meditation and yoga teachers with over 20 years experience. We specialize in hikes at sunset, vortex discussion and add meditation to most of our hikes.  We carry a special use permit for guided hikes as issued to the Sedona Metaphysical Spiritual Association. Fully permitted on the land for operation in the Coconino National Forest, CPR and First aid Certified - we follow the "leave no trace" land ethics of Sedona.

You need to know

To include everyone joining, the hiking will be mild, no extreme climbing or difficulty. Adults over 18 only.

Hikes that include yoga: We provide mats that you will be responsible to carry to the yoga site and bring back to the car when the yoga portion is finished. The yoga portion will be focused on easy poses. You must inform us if you have any injury or issue that may prohibit you from any postures or poses. The waiver you will sign indicates that you signed up for the hike and yoga using your own free will and have doctors permission to do these physical activities. Yoga on the red rocks can be unstable and it is expected that you make any modifications to suit your individual needs.

Yoga hikes are in conjunction with Back to Earth Tours, Sedona AZ.

Details

We make your hiking experience custom to your needs and can accommodate 2-14 people. Groups over 7 will have a staggered start time in accordance with our permit. Your experience will be approximately 1.5 hours long. Most of our hikes are led by two guides (the owners). We can include conversations about Sedona's history, filmmaking, and vortex's.

The optimal time to go on a hike is late in the day when the sun starts to set and the colors are illuminated on the red rocks.

Get up close and Grounded

The best way to see Sedona is from the perspective of physically being on the land. Get out of the car and experience the beauty up close. Every vista and curve on the trail leads to unexpected and breathtaking beauty, and every trail transforms with the time of day and month of the year.
